Silicates are chemical compounds that are formed by silica sand and alkali metals under optimal conditions. Generally, they are known as WATER GLASSES. Sodium, Potassium and Lithium etc. metals are used as alkali metals. Silicates are produced in two different types; neutral silicates and alkali silicates.

Neutral Silicates are formed by melting and quenching silica sand and sodium/potassium carbonate (soda) in high temperature resisting ovens.

Alkali Silicates are formed as a result of hydrothermal reaction between silica sand and caustic in high pressure resisting reactors.

As ÷zkimsan, we sell Sodium and Potassium Silicate that we produce to both domestic buyers and abroad.
